What is the book about?

This is a draft of the first section. See how systems of power shape society, your own life, and the data you work with. Learn how they influence the way we create, interpret, and use data in social policy.

How do I access the draft?

The PDF can be downloaded above (for free).

What kind of feedback do you need?

I'm looking for any feedback you would like to give me. It could be at an overall or chapter level, or line-by-line. Are there sections that made you think differently? Are there parts you have a visceral (good or bad) reaction to? Do you agree or disagree with anything? Do you like or dislike any diagrams? Is anything missing? This is still an early draft, so I'm interested in how the content resonates with you. Don't worry too much about things like commas in the wrong place, as these will be picked up in a final proofread. 

How do I provide feedback?

Feel free to add notes directly to your PDF download or email me a list of bullet points. Whatever works for you. If you only have time to read some of it, that's okay too. Also, please don't worry about hurting my feelings. I'd rather hear it now than later. 😅
